Our Commitment

Highland Longevity is committed to ensuring that our facility and services are accessible to all patients, including those with disabilities. We strive to provide an inclusive healthcare experience in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and all applicable federal and state laws.

We believe that every patient deserves access to quality healthcare, and we continuously work to identify and remove barriers that may prevent full participation in our services.

Physical Accessibility

Our clinic at Alliance Town Center in Fort Worth has been designed with accessibility in mind:

  • Accessible Parking: Designated handicapped parking spaces are available near the entrance
  • Entrance: Level entry with automatic doors for wheelchair and mobility device access
  • Interior: Wide doorways and hallways to accommodate wheelchairs and mobility aids
  • Restrooms: ADA-compliant restrooms with grab bars and accessible fixtures
  • Examination Rooms: Accessible exam rooms with adjustable equipment when possible
  • Waiting Area: Accessible seating options available

Communication Accessibility

We are committed to effective communication with all patients:

  • Sign Language Interpreters: Available upon request with advance notice
  • Written Materials: Available in large print upon request
  • Assistive Listening: Staff trained to speak clearly and face patients when communicating
  • Service Animals: Welcome in all areas of our facility
  • Support Persons: Patients may bring a companion to assist with communication or mobility

Website Accessibility

We are committed to making our website accessible to all users. We strive to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. Our ongoing accessibility efforts include:

  • Keyboard navigation support
  • Sufficient color contrast
  • Resizable text without loss of functionality
  • Clear and consistent navigation
  • Descriptive link text

Service Animals

Service animals are welcome at Highland Longevity. In accordance with the ADA, a service animal is defined as a dog (or in some cases, a miniature horse) that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability. We ask that service animals remain under the control of their handler at all times.
